I'm a marketing professional emphasizing in content marketing, social media and PR with a decade in "the biz," most recently at an award-winning integrated marketing agency. I've worked with companies of all sizes and industries and non-profits conquer their social media and content marketing fears by creating award-winning strategies and tactics.

How I Got Here

My path to entrepreneurship began at a tender age when I wanted to copy the Babysitter's Club business model. While I love the agency life, I wanted to serve an underserved market - the small business owner. Enter this website. Becoming an entrepreneur myself has been an incredibly rewarding experience and I'm excited to consider you a colleague.

I was raised a farm girl in the bluffs of a small central Wisconsin town. A go-getter, I signed up for as many clubs and activities throughout my school years. I joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard (WIARNG) in high school to help pay for college and spent six years playing in the WIARNG band as a clarinetist and vocalist. I took a hiatus from college to work on writing, recording and gigging with my rock band. After a couple years, the band parted ways and my dream of graduating college was gnawing at me. I re-enrolled, was accepted into the UW-Madison School of Journalism and graduated with a degree in strategic communications.
